The Rochester Police Department responded to three shootings and one stabbing on Saturday night. The first shooting occurred on Saturday evening around 7:30pm when the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Genesee Street and Magnolia Street in Rochester, New York. When officers arrived on scene, they found an 18-year-old male victim had been shot at least once. A second 18-year-old victim sustained injuries when they were trying to flee the gunfire. Both victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Around that same time, Rochester Police officers responded to the area of Wilkins Street for a report of gunshots. When officers arrived on scene, they did not locate any victims. Shortly after that incident, a 21-year-old male arrived at a local hospital via private vehicle. The male victim had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim is in serious, but stable condition.
About 9:00pm on Saturday evening, Rochester Police were called to the area of Van Auker Street and Reynolds Street in Rochester, New York for a female that had been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 65-year-old female with at least one gunshot wound. The female was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The female was treated and released.
Just after 10:45pm the Rochester Police responded to Austin Street for a report of a male that had been stabbed. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 36-year-old male with a stab wound to his upper body. The male was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Rochester Police Department advised that no suspects have been arrested in any of the incidents. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
