Male seriously shot while sitting in vehicle on Colvin Street

On October 25, 2020 about 9:30pm the Rochester Police Department responded to 81 Colvin Street for the report of possible gunshots in the area.  When officers arrived on scene, they found a 21 year old male in front of 105 Colvin Street with a gunshot wound to his upper body.  The male victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.  

On October 26, 2020 the Rochester Police Department was notified by Strong Memorial Hospital that the male victim died as the results of the shooting.  The Rochester Police Departments Major Crime Unit is investigating the shooting.

The victim’s name is being withheld until the family has been notified of his death.
