Two people dead after deadly Sunday, others injured after being shot in Rochester

Around 2 AM Sunday morning, Rochester police officers responded to Day Place for reports of a male shot.

When officers arrive on scene, they found a man in his 30s, he had been shot multiple times. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. He was pronounced dead.

Around 3:45 PM Rochester police officers responded to Avenue C and Conkey Avenue for reports of two people shot. Officers quickly responded learning that the victims had been transported by private vehicle which leader showed up at Rochester General Hospital.

Both victims are expected to survive.

Sunday night around 8:25 PM, 911 operators received calls of an unresponsive person on Clinton Avenue at the Pinnacle Apartments near Meigs Street.

Rochester police officers located a victim who was later pronounced dead.

During the early parts of the investigation, it was learned that the victim had also been shot.

Rochester police major crime unit is investigating all of these incidences and are asking anyone who has information to call 911 or contact crime stoppers.
