12-year-old killed in shooting, 16 year old shot on Reynolds Street and Atkinson Street

Rochester New York police confirms a 12-year-old is dead after being shot and killed on Atkinson Street in Reynold Street. Another teenager 16 years old was also shot with serious injuries, but is in stable condition.

Police say it appears the two teenagers were walking together when they were shot. this happened around 7:10 PM Monday night when Rochester police officers responded for report of two people shot. Discovering the two teenagers upon arrival.

At the scene, family members and friends emotional looking for answers.

This will be Rochester 75th homicide of this and there are no suspect in custody.

The major crime units are investigating this incident.
