18-year-old murdered on Second Street

Rochester police confirms and 18-year-old is dead after being shot multiple times on Second Street and Central Park.

This is after Rochester police officers responded to the area of second Street in Central Park for reports of a person shot. Officers search the area and found one male shot.

While officers were trying to render aid to the victims a large group began to make it difficult for first responders as emotions were in the air.

The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

The victims identification has not been released publicly yet.

Rochester Police says there are no suspects in custody. Anyone with information is asked to call 911, the Major Crimes Unit at 585-428-7157, or Crime Stoppers at 585-423-9300.
