2 people shot and killed on North Goodman Street

Rochester police investigating a double homicide that left two males dead. Rochester police officers responded around 1:30 AM to North Goodman Street near Norton Street for reports of multiple shots fired and two people shot.

Officers responded to the scene and discovered that two males were confirmed shot. Life-saving measures were taken, but unfortunately, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say in a press release "The preliminary investigation has revealed the victims left the bar located at 1730 North Goodman Street and walked to their vehicle, which was parked on North Goodman Street. As they were entering their vehicle, both were shot and killed by the suspect."

Police identified 49 year-old Wahid Nazario and 43 year-old Frank Rosario Vazquez who were killed.

The Rochester police command van did respond to the scene with the major crime units.

Witnesses are cooperating with police and if anyone seen anything to please contact the Rochester Police Department police say. There are no suspects in custody.
