2 people shot in separate shootings in Rochester

Around 3:20 PM Rochester Police officers responded to Sixth Street for a shot spotter activation and a call for a person shot.

The shot spotter activation indicated that 20 rounds were fired. Rochester Firefighter's could hear the shots from the fire station on North Goodman.

Rochester Police search the area and found the victim on the next street over on seventh Street.

There it was confirmed that he was shot and transported to strong Memorial Hospital, where his condition is stable.

While this was going on New York state troopers detained two possible suspects matching the description of the shooters.

Male shot on Roycroft Drive:

Around 5:50 P.M. Rochester police officers were in the area of Roycroft Drive when they heard multiple shots being fired.

They immediately responded locating a male who had been shot.

There are no suspect in custody.
