Arrest made in Karnes Street morning stabbing

Police said a man was stabbed to death on Karnes Street just after midnight. The victim was found with a stab wound in the chest.  AMR personnel responded and tried to give the man life-saving measures but were unsuccessful. 

UPDATE: Police have made an arrest in Friday's fatal stabbing on Karnes Street.

Erica Mathis, 35, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Dytanyia McCracken. 

Mathis is scheduled to be arraigned in Rochester City Court Saturday.
