24 year old man shot on Dewey Avenue, nearby citizens came to help

Around 4:00 P.M Rochester police officers responded to Dewey Avenue and electric avenue for report of a male shot.

Upon arrival they discovered a 24 year old man who was struck by stray bullet after suspects were shooting at another person.

Initial reports that there was an elderly man but that was not the case police say.

The man was transported to Strong Memorial hospital where has life-threatening injuries.

There are no suspects in custody for this shooting.
