3 people shot in separate shootings in Rochester

Rochester Police confirm around 2 PM today Rochester police officers responded to the 400 block of Chili Avenue for a port of a person shot.


Police say officers located a male in his 30s who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries but he is in stable condition.


While officers were on scene, they also located at 18-year-old female who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. She is also in stable condition at Strong Memorial Hospital.


An off-duty, law-enforcement officer from the neighborhood agency was on Chili Avenue and immediately started life-saving medical treatment to both individuals police say in a press release.

Rochester Police is also investigating a shooting that left one man shot on Clay Avenue.


This happened around 6:20 PM Rochester police officer said they responded to the area of Clay Avenue for a port of a person shot. My officers were making their way to the scene a gunshot wound victim showed up at Rochester General Hospital.


Police confirm that is the same victim who was shot on Clay Avenue but was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.


The victim is in stable condition.


There are no suspect in custody for either of these shootings.
