Body found in vehicle on Brown Street

On Tuesday morning around 11:00am the Rochester Police Department responded to Brown Street near Silver Street for a suspicious vehicle. When officers arrived on scene, they found an individual in the vehicle, who was unresponsive. The individual was pronounced dead on scene.

The Rochester Police Departments command van along with the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office are on scene. The death is being handled as a suspicious death.

The area will remain closed off to the public for several hours while RPD continues their investigation.
