Building fire on North Clinton Avenue

Rochester Firefighter‘s responded to 1233 North Clinton Avenue for report of a building fire.

The resident who was in the home at the time ran next-door to the local fire department after he couldn’t reach his cell phone because of the thick smoke.

Fire crews quickly responded at 4:11 PM.

The fire was put out in under 15 minutes and mainly was in the basement.

Fire investigators have not determined the cause of the fire as of right now.
