Campbell Street fire destroys home

On Sunday afternoon around 1:27pm the Rochester Fire Department responded to the area of Campbell Street in Rochester for a report of a house on fire. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found smoke and flames coming from a 2-story home located at 281 Campbell Street.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within 40 minutes of their arrival on scene.

The residence is reportedly an abandoned home. No one was inside of the residence at the time of the fire.

No injuries have been reported.

The Rochester Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
