City of Rochester made it available to provide food for families amid the ongoing coronavirus


Different locations in the City of Rochester will be made available to provide food for families amid the ongoing coronavirus situation.


Monroe County officials also provided information regarding child care, subsidies and SNAP benefits for people who find themselves in need during this period.

Monroe County Health Officials are also asking local restaurants and bars to examine whether they have the ability to temporary close down.


The RCSD will provide breakfast & lunch at the following sites from 8-2:30 p.m.:

Wilson Foundation, 200 Genesee St

Monroe, 164 Alexander St

East, 1801 E. Main St

Freddie Thomas, 625 Scio St

Jefferson, 1 Edgerton Park

School 5, 555 N. Plymouth Ave

School 42, 3330 Lake Ave
