Crimes Including robberys, shootings and more starts off Rochester cold weekend
On Friday afternoon around 3:00pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of North Clinton Avenue and Sullivan Street for a ShotSpotter activation. When officers arrived on scene, they located a 26-year-old male who had sustained at least one gunshot wound.
The male was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
At the time of the shooting, there was a community event taking place at International Plaza.
No one else was hurt.
Just after 6:00pm on Friday night, the Rochester Police Department responded to the 100 block of Dove Street for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived on scene, they were informed that a 26-year-old male was shot but was transported by private vehicle to the hospital.
The male victim arrived at Rochester General Hospital with at least one gunshot wound. His condition is unknown.
At 7:20pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the T-Mobile on West Main Street for a report of a robbery. When officers arrived on scene, the suspect was already gone.
Store employees advised that a black male in his 20’s wearing a mask entered the store and robbed them at gunpoint.
All three incidents are being investigated by the Rochester Police Department.
No suspects have been arrested.
