Former Mayor Lovely Warren running for Judge

On Monday March 11, Former Mayor Lovely Warren announced she will run for Rochester City Court Judge.  Warren served as Rochester Mayor from January 1, 2014 to December 1, 2021, when she resigned with just one month left in her second term. 

Warren's resignation came just as her estranged husband was arrested and faced charges in connection to drug trafficking.  

Warren released a statement on Facebook stating "I have made my share of mistakes and as part of that there are many things that I regret, but all of that has made me a better person, better mom and able to relate to victims and make sure the scales of justice balance for all."
