Four shot overnight
The Rochester Police Department has confirmed that four people were shot in the downtown area last night.
Officers responded to a parking lot located at 15 Savannah Street for a report of a shooting. As officers arrived on scene, they found a 63-year-old female along with a 29-year-old female both with gunshot wounds to their upper body. Both females were taken to a local hospital.
While officers were investigating that incident officers were responding to a report of a car crash at the intersection of East Main Street and Scio Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found a motor vehicle crash with one of the victims suffering from a gunshot wound. The 38-year-old man had a gunshot wound to his lower body and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A fourth victim, a 24-year-old male arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital via private vehicle. The male had a gunshot wound to his upper body. He is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
The Rochester Police Department has confirmed that no suspects are in custody.
