Gun found on student at Monroe High School

Rochester New York police confirms RCSD security at Monroe High School found a 9 millimeter gun on a 17-year-old student this morning.

Police says the gun was loaded, but no shots were fired. The school is deemed safe for students and staff.

The 17-year-old was taken into custody and has not been identified.
