House fire on Bay and Fifth Street

On October 1 just before 11:00pm the Rochester Fire Department responded to the are of Bay Street for a report of a house fire. When firefighters arrived o. Scene they found smoke and flames coming from a garage. The flames extended into the home.

Firefighters are in the process of putting the fire out.

The Rochester Fire Department is asking the public to avoid the area while they continue to battle the fire.
