House Fire on Driving Park Avenue
Around 6 p.m the fire started on the first floor and crept up to the second according to firefighters. It's a double home and at least six people live there.
One child and one adult were home at the time, but they were able to get out of the house before firefighters arrived. There was a dog inside the home and was not hurt.
The Rochester Fire Department says the home is badly damaged and the families are unable to return to the home at this time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the families will be receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
