Male shot and killed on West Main Street near Minq lounge

Rochester police say approximately 11:15 PM Rochester police officers were called to the 300 block of West Main Street for report of a male being shot.

Upon arrival officers did locate the victim who was in his 30s who had been shot at least once in the upper body.

Police confirm the male was pronounced dead on the scene and there are no suspects in custody for this murder.

The homicide numbers are double than what they were last year around this time.

The Rochester Police Department is asking for the community for any information on this murder to please come forward.
