Male shot on Hudson Avenue near Merrimac Street

Around 7:32 PM Rochester police officers responded for a shot spotter activation in the area of Merrimac Street.

Officers quickly searching the area finding one male shot on Hudson Avenue.

Police say a suspect drove by in a vehicle and started shooting.

A tourniquet was applied at the scene by officers and the 58 year-old victim is in critical but stable condition with non life-threatening injuries.

There are no suspect in custody, and there's an ongoing investigation.
