Male shot while sitting in his living room on Austin Street

At approximately 10:05 PM tonight parole officers in the area of Austin Street heard shots fired immediately calling it over dispatch. A victim sitting in his living room called 911 along with a shot spotter activation before that.

The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by AMR ambulance where he’s in stable condition.

After police further investigated, the house was vacant and the male who was in the living room does not live at the residence.

There are no suspect in custody. Police are asking anyone with any information to step forward.
