Man charged in killing Rochester police officer charged for separate recent murder


The man from Boston (Kelvin Vickers) accused of fatally shooting Rochester Police Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz is among three people indicted on murder charges for a separate killing.


A grand jury indictment unsealed Tuesday charges Kelvin Vickers, Deadrick Fulwiley and Raheim Robinson with four counts of first-degree murder for the shooting deaths of Richard Collinge and MyJel Rand on North Clinton Avenue July 20.

All three of the suspects are being charged with the attempted murder of a third victim and six counts of criminal possession of a weapon.


The suspects are also indicted on charges of reckless endangerment and six more counts criminal possession of a weapon for a separate shooting that happened a day before.


They are also facing arson charges for an incident that happened later that day.


Vickers is being held in Monroe County Jail for Rochester Police Officer Mazurkiewicz's murder.
