Man stabbed on Saint Paul Street

A man was stabbed on Saint Paul Street in Rochester, New York. The original call came in for a person shot, but was later found to have sustained stabbing wounds. This incident happened around 10:30 PM Wednesday night police says.

Police says the 52-year-old male victim was stabbed near Clifford Avenue. The male was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident and has one person detained at this time.
