Mayor Lovely Warren Indicted on Felony Charges

On Friday October 2, 2020 Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley announced that a grand jury has indicted Mayor Lovely Warren and Rosiland Brooks of one count of scheming to defraud and one count of violation of election laws, both which are Class E felonies in the State of New York.

Sandra Doorley stated that the grand jury proceedings started back in August and had been ongoing since then.  Prosecutors issues subpoenas to numerous individuals as part of the investigation against the mayor and her campaign finances.  

Mayor Warren is scheduled to appear in Monroe County Court on Monday October 5, 2020 where she will be arraigned.
