Multiple people shot, one dead on Rauber street and North Clinton Avenue

On Wednesday morning around 12:40am the Rochester Police Department responded to North Clinton Avenue and Rauber Street for a report of gunshots.  When officers arrived on scene, they found three victims who all appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds.  One of the victims was pronounced dead on scene.

The victim that was pronounced dead is a 19-year-old male. 

The two other victims, one being a 25-year-old male and the other being a 29-year-old male, were both transported to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated.   The 25-year-old victim has life-threatening injuries.  The 29-year-old has non-life-threatening injuries.

Hours before the shooting officers responded to the same area for a home that was fired into.

The Rochester Major Crimes Unit is on scene conducting their investigation.

No suspects are in custody.

The Rochester Police Department is asking anyone with information to call 911.
