Multiple people shot, one killed in area of chili Avenue

Rochester police are investigating a shooting that left multiple people shot and one person dead. This happened in the area of Chila I Avenue near Depew Street and Salina Street.

Rochester police confirms around 11:25 P.M tonight officers responded to the area of Depew Street and Salina Street for reports of multiple people shot.

As officers were on scene investigating the Depew Street incident, another call came in for a male who was shot at 664 Chili Avenue.  When officers arrived on Chili Avenue, they found a teenage male who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body. The teenager was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he underwent surgery.  His condition is unknown.

The Rochester Police Department has confirmed that both males were in a parked car on Depew Street, when someone shot into the car.  The relationship between the two males is unknown.
