One dead, others wounded in spring of shooting in Rochester

Around 8:45 P.M police respond to Myrtle Street.

For reports of two people shot with a shot spotter activations.

Upon arrival officers located a male and female with a female graze in the face and a male shot in the leg, both in stable condition not life-threatening injuries.

44th homicide report:

Police say at approximately 1:42 am Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies, New York Troopers and Rochester Police Officers responded to the 400 block of Lyell Ave for the report

of a male shot.

Upon arrival members of those

agencies located a male, in his 30's, who had been shot.

Police confirmed the male was transported to Strong Memorial hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There are no suspects in custody for this murder.
