One person dead and three people are injured after a serious car crash on Clifford Avenue.


The Rochester Police Department confirms one person is dead after a serious car crash on Clifford Avenue and Barons Street that happened around 6:30 P.M.


On Sunday evening the Rochester Police Department along with the Rochester Fire Department responded to the area of Clifford Avenue and Barons Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. As first responders arrived on scene, they noticed 2-vehicles had crashed and one vehicle had rolled over. Both vehicles had two occupants inside.


The driver of one of the vehicles was removed from her damaged vehicle. Firefighters and AMR staff started CPR on the driver at the scene. She was placed into an AMR ambulance where CPR was continued by AMR staff. The driver was transported from the scene to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.


Three other individuals involved in the crash were also transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.


The Rochester Police Department advised that the intersection of Clifford Avenue and Barons Street will be closed down for some time as they investigate the crash.
