One shot on Flint Street and Jefferson Avenue

On Saturday evening around 5:45pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Flint Street and Jefferson Avenue for a report of a possible shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found one victim that had sustained at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital.

The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.

The Rochester Police Department is still working the investigation and is asking the public to avoid the area.

No suspects are in custody.
