One shot on North Goodman Street

On Saturday afternoon just after 2:00pm the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of 1600 North Goodman Street for a report of a person shot. As officers arrived on scene, they found one person who had sustained a gunshot wound. Witnesses were able to provide a suspect vehicle description.

As officers were responding to the scene, officers noticed the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop and led officers on a short chase.

The suspect vehicle eventually stopped, and officers conducted a felony traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle is currently in custody.

This is an ongoing active investigation by the Rochester Police Department.
