Overnight fight leads to 1 arrested

Early Saturday morning the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Monroe Avenue between South Goodman Street and Meigs Street for a report of a large group of people fighting. When officers arrived they found a group fighting, with a crowd of about 200-300 people in the area.

Officers arrested one person on scene for disorderly conduct.

The Rochester Police Department stated that the area was closed off to the public from 2am to 3am, while officers got the scene under control.

No injuries were reported.
