Overnight house fire on Myrtle Street
Around 12:30 AM the Rochester Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on Myrtle Street after receiving multiple calls. Firefighters immediately rushed to the scene. When arriving on scene firefighters noticed heavy smoke and flames showing from 16 Myrtle Street.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and more details will be available as the investigation continues.
The fire leaves 11 people homeless and 3 dogs dead in house which includes women, men and children. The people living in the home were assisted by the Red Cross.
