Pedestrian kill in hit and run

On Monday evening the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of Hudson Avenue and Clifford Avenue for a report of a person struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived on scene, they found a victim, who had been struck by a vehicle laying in the roadway.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The Rochester Police Department advised that the vehicle the struck the victim left the scene.

The Rochester Police Department advised this is an ongoing investigation and that anyone with information is asked to call 911.
