Person dead in house fire on Bernard Street

Around 8:15 P.M Wednesday night Rochester fire crews responded to Bernard Street reports of a housefire.

Fire crews quickly responded with heavy, smokes and flame coming from the home.

Rochester firefighters also learned that there was a person trapped inside of the home. They were able to get the person out of the structure, but was unable to save them.

The Rochester arson task force is investigating the cause of the fire.
