Person suffering from life-threatening injuries after being hit by vehicle on West Main Street

On Wednesday evening around 8:30pm the Rochester Police Department responded to West Main Street near King Street for a report of a person struck by a vehicle. As officers arrived on scene, they did locate an individual lying in the roadway with numerous injuries.

The individual was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian did remain on scene.

As of this time, it is unknown if the driver is facing any charges.

The Rochester Police Department is investigating the incident.
