Rochester family displaced after fire breaks out in home on Chandler Street.

Around 2 AM this morning Rochester Firefighter responded to Chandler Street for a port of a house fire.

Fire crews arrived on scene, there was smoking flames coming from the home at 24 Chandler Street.

Rochester fire crews put out the fire, but it wasn't enough for the family to return in for now. The home will need some major repairs before being safe to live in again.

A family of two adults and four children were home at the time, but no one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
