Rochester man shot on Wilkins Street

Rochester police is investigating a shooting that happened on Wilkins Street around 3:40 PM.

Police say they responded to Wilkins street for reports of a male shot. Before police could arrive on scene the victim had already been transported to the hospital by a private vehicle.

The victim showed up at Rochester General Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

There are no suspecting custody and police are asking anyone with information to dial 911.
