Rochester Shooting kills 1, leaves 2 injured on North Clinton Avenue

On Wednesday morning around 11:30am the Rochester Police Department responded to the area of North Clinton Avenue and Rialto Street for a report of a shooting.

As officers arrived on scene they found one male outside, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. The male was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where is in critical condition.

As officers were checking the scene, they located a second male who had also been shot. The second male was pronounced dead on scene.

While officers were investigating the scene, a third male showed up at Rochester General Hospital with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. That male’s injuries are non-life-threatening.

The Rochester Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area while they investigate the shooting.

No suspects are in custody at this time.
