Shooting investigation underway on Jefferson Avenue

A man is recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital after being shot on Jefferson Ave and Frost Avenue.

Rochester police officers responded to the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue for a report of a shot spotter activation.

When police arrived on scene they found a man on the ground who had been shot multiple times.

The man was transported to the hospital, where he is expected to survive with Non-life-threatening injuries.

They are no suspects in custody.
