Stabbing leaves one dead on Evergreen Street

On Sunday night just after 5:00pm the Rochester Police Department was called to Evergreen Street in the City of Rochester for a report of a fight. As officers arrived on scene, they found a 24-year-old male with a stab wound. The male was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A second male, who is believed to be in his 40’s was taken to a local hospital by private vehicle with a stab wound. He is listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Captain Craig Bello, with the Rochester Police Department stated that there are no suspects in custody.
