Suspects run inside Walmart after police chase

On July 17, 2023 around 3:30pm the Rochester Police Department responded to Hollenbaeck Street for a report of a person waving a handgun out of the window of a black Hyundai. 

Officer responded to the area and began to search for the vehicle.  Officers were able to locate the vehicle around 5:40pm driving north on Rohr Street.  Officers attempted to stop the vehicle when a pursuit ensued.  The vehicle led officers into a parking lot at 1490 Hudson Avenue. 

As the vehicle came to a stop near the entrance of the business, all 4 occupants exited the vehicle and ran into the store. 

Officers pursued the occupants of the vehicle into the store.  Officers were able to apprehend all 4 occupants.
