The 13th ROC the Peace festival

The 13th annual ROC The Peace festival was held yesterday at Jones Square Park.

This year at the festival they give away prizes, money and bikes to the kids at the event.

They gave away food and had bounce houses cotton candy and popcorn for the kids.

“This is where we can feel comfortable and be together as a community” one person said.

This year there was also a moment of silence to other victims who were killed by gun violence.

This festival was made after the Sirena Cotton son was killed years ago in the city due to gun violence.
