The Rochester Police Department is investigating a shooting leaving 2 people shot

On Saturday night around 11:45pm the Rochester Police Department responded to West Main Street for a report of a large crowd at a private party. When officers arrived on scene, they found Steven Joiner, 26-years-old with a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead on scene.

The Rochester Police Department advised that a second victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. The second victim is in critical condition.

No one is in custody.

The Rochester Police Department is asking anyone with information to call 911.
