Two shot overnight

On Saturday morning around 3am the Rochester Police Department responded to Rochester General Hospital for a report of a 24-year-old male who arrived at the hospital via private vehicle with a gunshot wound.

As officers were at the hospital investigating the incident. A second victim, a 22-year-old male also arrived via private vehicle. The second victim also sustained a gunshot wound.

Officer were able to determine that the 22-year-old male was shot at Twin Beaches apartment off of Lake Avenue. Initial reports indicate that the victim was sleeping in his apartment when someone began shooting outside the complex.

Both victims are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
