Tyquan Rivera has been charged for Friday nights crash near Upper Falls Boulevard on Almira Street


The Rochester Police Department says Tyquan Rivera was driving a SUV north on Almira while a motorcyclist was traveling west on Upper Falls Boulevard. Police say the motorcyclist hit the driver’s side of the SUV as it crossed the westbound lanes.


Tyquan Rivera has been charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operator.


Tyquan Rivera was convicted of shooting Officer Anthony DiPonzio in 2009. Rivera was 14-years-old at the time.


The driver of the motorcycle died on scene police says.
