Violent 12 hours in Rochester
The Rochester Police Department has been busy over the last 12 hours handling numerous calls for violent crimes throughout the city. There have been 4 separate incidents that have occurred, with 2 of the incidents still ongoing.
The violence started early this morning around 1:40am when the Rochester Police Department responded to 360 Chili Avenue for a report of a person shot. Officers arrived on scene and found one individual suffering a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
On Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm the Rochester Police Department responded to 253 West Avenue for a report of a person stabbed. Officers arrived on scene and found one person with a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
At 2:00pm this afternoon, the Rochester Police Department responded to 556 Chili Avenue for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found on male with a gunshot wound to his arm. The male was transported to a local hospital.
Around 2:30pm today, the Rochester Police Department was called to Highland Hospital for a report of a female that was brought to the hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to her arm. The Rochester Police Department is on scene and attempting to obtain information as to where the incident occurred.
All the victims are being treated at local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Rochester Police Department has advised that no suspects are in custody in any of the incidents.
