Young male shot on Evergreen Street and Conkey Avenue

Around 9:30 PM Rochester police officers got a report of a shot spotter activation in the area of Conkey Avenue and Evergreen Street.

While on their way to the shot spotter activation a motor vehicle accident came in minutes later and also report of a person shot at the location of Norton Street and North Clinton Avenue.

The victim was in one of those vehicles and citizens nearby transporting the victim moved him to another vehicle and proceeded to Rochester General Hospital.

Police say the male victim was shot on Evergreen Street and was transported in a private vehicle that crashed then was moved to a different vehicle.

The young male is expected to survive and there are no suspects in custody.

Both incidents are related.
