2 Bombs found in the same neighborhood on Rochester’s west side of the city.



The Rochester Police Department responded to 2 separate locations on the city's west side after explosives were found. 


The first incident was located at 261 Roslyn Street where a resident found a live grenade in the basement while cleaning. 


The second incident occurred at 420 Magnolia Street where a roofer found a military mortar in the attic. 


The Rochester Police Department’s bomb squad responded to both incidents and removed the explosives. 


Both scenes have been cleared and the roadways are open
